Welcome To
WEYMOUTH, NS

Visiting or Living here - it's a wonderful place

Weymouth is a small village located on rolling hills banking the Sissiboo River in Digby County, Nova Scotia.  Settled in 1783 by British Loyalists, the area has long been known for its rich resources based industries as well as its diverse blend of cultures including Mi’kmaq, British Loyalists, African Canadian and Acadian.  While the Village proper is very small, the Greater Weymouth Area encompasses many smaller neighboring communities from Exits 27 and 28 on Hwy 101, to areas south-east reaching to trunk routes #1 and #340 as well as areas east of the mouth of the Sissiboo River.
