TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST
..Good Morning.
..Today we have clear skies across the Mountains with light winds from the NE at 3-15mph. If you liked the weather yesterday, you will like the rest of the week.
..Clear skies with morning Fog in the Valley each morning will be the forecast through Monday. Temperatures will slowly rise through Sunday, which will be our warmest day of the next five days.
..The local Mountain temperatures will range from the mid 60s to the low 70s by Sunday.
..The morning Marine layer is expected to briefly thicken up to the 2500-3500 foot level each morning, with clear skies above that.
..We are currently sandwiched in between two areas of High pressure. One to our North, and one to our South, with an area of Low pressure centered over the Eastern Great Basin in between. This will keep us in a North Easterly flow aloft through Sunday or Monday. Also keeping temperatures very seasonal.
..LOOKING AHEAD:
..Heading into next week as it looks now, a fairly strong area of High pressure will build across the West bringing with it what may be our first heat wave of the this year. High pressure is expected to plant itself over the West starting mid week next week, lasting through the weekend at least. So we could see above normal temperatures for the latter part of next week across all of SoCal.
..The CRYSTAL BALL 🔮has been put away for the Summer.
