A weekly police blotter issued to include information about law enforcement response to criminal activity on Sanibel.  

The Lighthouse Beach Parking Lots (Bayside) Reopen Wednesday, May 1st!

April 30, 2024

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1st, the Lighthouse Beach Parking Lots on the Bayside will reopen! The parking lot on the gulf side will remain temporarily closed as beach renourishment crews work to demobilize equipment. Notice will be provided when the gulf side parking lot reopens.

The Lighthouse Beach Parking Lots Will Close Monday, April 29 for Crews to Continue Placing Sand Near the Lighthouse.

Tomorrow, Monday, April 29th all Lighthouse Beach Park parking lots will be closed for contractors to continue adding sand near the lighthouse. Work is expected to be completed by May 1st. Information will be sent out notifying the public of the reopening of the parking lots as soon as work is completed.
