Visitors to Telford Mann’s Head Office in Kettering are often surprised to see that the pensions and investment company have a thriving colony of bees. For 3 years the staff at Telford Mann have been carefully tending the colony and harvesting the resulting honey which is then sold to provide funds for our chosen charity, the Alzheimer’s Society.

Telford Mann currently have 4 active hives and have had a bumper crop of honey this year, which is now on sale at the Ironstone Wellbeing Centre, adjacent to the Telford Mann office in Kettering.

The beekeeping team at Telford Mann maintain a careful watch on the colony, using the newly installed beewatch camera. It is fascinating to watch these busy little insects at work as they buzz in and out of the hives all day.
